Our 2017 generosity campaign at Restoration Christian Church provides you with an opportunity to give, serve and love others. Together we can make a difference in our community!

GIVE

When you make a financial donation to the RCC "Be Rich" generosity campaign, every penny goes to support the needs and efforts of these local people and organizations.

Springs Valley Meadows - purchase a Christmas gift for a resident of the nursing home. Names and gift suggestions are available to pick up in the lobby each Sunday. Gifts will be delivered on Sunday, December 17th immediately following the morning worship service. Contact Cathy Chaplin for more information.  

Goody B’s Teen Center - purchase a Christmas meal catered by Sanders Catering for the teen center students and families. Tickets are $10 per person. The meal will take place on Sunday, December 17th from 11:30 - 1 PM at the teen center. Tickets are available to purchase in the lobby each Sunday. Contact Jamie Collins for more information.  

Clothing Ministry - all sizes of socks and underwear are needed for the clothing ministry.  Please drop them off under the tree in the lobby during the month of December. Contact Jennifer Hill for more information. 

SERVE

True happiness comes from giving, not receiving. Volunteering and serving our friends and neighbors is a simple way to do this.  Let’s see what a difference we can make in our community!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)  

SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGERS
It’s time for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive.  If anyone is interested in ringing a bell for the Salvation Army, they can sign up online at  www.registertoring.org 

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.  (Hebrews 6:10)

LOVE

Imagine the difference we could make if we all took a few minutes to show everyone serving our community a little love and appreciation.

ADDITIONAL IDEAS: 
  • Take drinks and snacks to construction workers at a nearby site. 
  • Send a care package to a college student.  
  • Hide a dollar in the Dollar Store toy section for a child to find. 
  • Hospital Care Packages - support patients and their families by assembling bags of helpful and comforting items. Include an encouraging note!  
  • Write letters to wounded or deployed military members.  
  • Know a family with a child fighting a sickness? Send a card of encouragement to the siblings of children fighting illnesses.  
  • Make a meal or treat and deliver it to someone in need or a neighbor you haven’t met yet.  ​
Be sure to share with us how you have been blessed to be a blessing.
